We missed having you around, but we’ve got you covered. Take a look at what we announced.

The Evening

Pascal Ndagijimana shared with us about growing the church in hard places, relaying his experience as a church planter and ministry leader in Rwanda. Additionally, we heard a brief update from Gil and Danna León regarding upcoming changes in their own ministry.

The Project

We also introduced our project for the year. Village is raising money to reopen Nyagatare Baptist Church, one of the thousands of churches closed due to recent legislation. They need between $5,500-$6,000 to open their doors, and we would like to make a dent! Village will be collecting funds from October 20-November 3 through a special offering. You can pick up an envelope on Sunday, or simply write “Special Missions Offering” in your check memo.

Keeping Up With Our Missionaries

In addition, we announced a new way to keep up to date on our missionaries. Starting in November, we will no longer be including our missionary prayer requests in the prayer bulletin. Instead, we will be sending twice-monthly mailings focused on one missionary at a time. We hope you’ll sign up!
